A crypto wallet marketed under the Trump name is drawing scrutiny after Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump publicly distanced themselves from the project, raising questions about the legitimacy of the offering and its connections to the Trump brand.

Originally promoted on and detailed on the website trumpwallet.com, the so-called Trump Wallet claims to be The First and Only Crypto Wallet for True Trump Fans, a phrase emphasized by NFT marketplace Magic Eden on X.
The site promotes a waitlist, while Magic Edens X account offered participants a chance to win $1 million in TRUMP rewards. The wallet image also claimed compatibility with bitcoin ( BTC), ethereum ( ETH), solana ( SOL), and Magic Edens ME token, while displaying a balance of $1,776a symbolic nod to U.S. independence.
However, both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump swiftly disavowed any involvement. The Trump Organization has zero involvement with this wallet product, Trump Jr. wrote on X. @EricTrump and I know nothing about it. He added that their own project, World Liberty Financial, would soon launch our official wallet. Eric Trump echoed the denial, stating, I run @Trump and I know nothing about this project!

Despite the disclaimers, Magic Eden continues to be listed as a collaborator on the site, though its unclear to what extent the company is involved. Although, Magic Eden co-founder Jack Lu took to X on Tuesday to comment on the purported alliance. The sudden appearance of the wallet, which went viral on social media, combined with its marketing tactics and the Trump familys denials, has cast doubt over the authenticity and intent behind the offering.
As TRUMP token prices briefly rose more than 3% following the announcement, the controversy raises broader questions about branding, digital identity, and the increasing frequency of unofficial crypto projects borrowing from political figures and celebrities without direct affiliation.
