After an unforgettable year of Sessions the intimate acoustic series thats grown into a cornerstone of Londons underground scene. This time round the creative collective Bread and Butter are levelling up with Shutter Sessions all-day Festival, curated and hosted along with rising star Virtuo.

An intimate music festival taking over their East London studio space showcasing some of the most exciting emerging talents in the scene. Running from 12pm to 12am, this extended edition is more than just a gig its a movement. Over the past year, Shutter Sessions has become a hub for discovery, platforming grassroots talent and building an authentic scene through acoustic sets and open mic cyphers.

This all-day celebration develops the concept further with 30+ artists and DJs performing across the day
and night, from hungry grassroots talent to more established rising stars. The only rule is theyre all chasing a career in music.

Virtuo added, We want to present artists that we genuinely believe in and feel deserve a greater platform to express themselves regardless of where they are in their journey. Weve created a space for people to show up as themselves no gimmicks, no big egos. Just sound, soul, and community.

We just want to give a platform to creatives across genres. We all have dreams, the arts and media industry are tough industries to break into and we had plenty of help along the way to get us to where we are now so we just want to support, give back and champion as much talent as we can. says Ben from Bread and Butter.

On top of that, as the sun sets weve got a secret headliner ready to light up the night you cant miss it. This event is completely free, and runs through an RSVP system to maximise exposure and build on their community ethos so the day is as inclusive as possible.

Clash Magazine are lending our support to the movement and helping shine a light on the movement and artists involved. Catering is on hand, Bread and Butter are bringing in creative community and Mar De Mole who will be serving up food throughout the day.

Our spaces have become a hub for collaboration and expression within all art forms. For this event we will transform our photography studio into a performance arena, with cinematic visuals and an iconic hanging mic setup all captured to support the artists long after the event. There will be multiple videographers and photographers on site to capture the magic.

This is your invitation to be part of something special a one-of-a-kind gathering where ambition meets authenticity, and every performance counts.
