Michigan State football is gearing up for their fourth big slate of June's official visit season. With the Spartans already holding ten commitments, the coaching staff is looking to build on that number with another weekend of high priority targets coming in for visits.

As of right now, the Spartans are slated to host seven players this weekend, five of which are uncommitted prospects, while two are currently committed to MSU. There are plenty of opportunities for MSU to add to the class, with those opportunities coming with high profile targets being on campus.

Of the five uncommitted prospects, three are high value targets, while two are targets at positions of need where the Spartans hold a sizeable advantage in their recruitment.

Rounding out the visit schedule, the Spartans are going to have two of their committed prospects on campus, who will do their part in recruiting these uncommitted prospects to MSU.

Check out who will be on campus this weekend:

A high school quarterback that is converting to tight end in college, Joey Caudill is a 6-foot-5, 215 pound 3-star prospect. He was the first prospect that committed to the Spartans in the 2026 recruiting class.

A Mansfield, Ohio native, Caudill will be doing his best at bringing talent with him to East Lansing within the 2026 recruiting class.

Another MSU commit, Bickel is a native of North Branch, Michigan, and is the lone offensive line prospect in the Spartans 2026 recruiting class at this time. A 6-foot-6, 270 pound tackle, he is a 3-star prospect that has the body type to be the perfect building block for OL coach Jim Michalczik.

Like Caudill, Bickel is here to aid the staff and do what he needs to do in order for the Spartans to continue adding to their 2026 recruiting class.

The headliner of the uncommitted crew, Detroit (MI) Cass Tech product Khalief Canty is one of the most coveted prospects on the coaching staff's recruiting board. He is a 6'5", 305 pound offensive lineman that is a 4-star prospect based on Rivals' rankings.

Michigan State is going to be laying out the red carpet for Canty, who is deciding between MSU, Missouri and North Carolina, with a commitment date coming on June 23.

A highly rated edge rusher from Winnsboro, Louisiana, attending Franklin Parish High School, he is an 89-rated 3-star prospect. At 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds he is a high value, highly coveted prospect in the class.

The Spartans are battling a top five that includes Arizona State, Florida State, Tulane and UCLA.

Another highly rated, highly coveted 3-star prospect, Gash is a Novi (MI) native, attending Catholic Central High School. He is ranked as an 89-rated 3-star prospect as the No. 4 player in the state of Michigan. He is a 6'0", 180 pound wide receiver.

The Spartans are in a fierce battle with Alabama, Cincinnati and West Virginia, all of whom will get visits from the Shamrocks standout wide receiver.

A double legacy recruit for Michigan State, the son of All-American Scott Shaw, Adam Shaw backed off of his commitment to Rutgers in order to visit East Lansing. The Spartans are in firm control of this recruitment, and should be the ones to gain the commitment of their legacy target by Sunday.

An 88-rated 3-star linebacker prospect, Shaw sits at 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds. He plays as a quarterback in high school, while shifting to the defensive side of the ball as well, making him a strong athlete for his projection at linebacker in college.

The newest prospect for the Spartans to entertain, Indian Trail (NC) wide receiver Rai'shawn Elmore is going to be the latest prospect to come to East Lansing, and the Spartans are going to make their play.

An underrated prospect, Elmore stands at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds as a wide receiver. A 3-star prospect, he has taken visits to East Carolina and Charlotte this June. He is someone that pops on the film.
